The Bosch Tavern in Hales Corners has become a staple of the community on Milwaukee’s southwest side. The stately Victorian home with the gorgeous outdoor area, an amazing fish fry and some of the best, friendliest servers and customers you’ve ever encountered is the perfect place to meet and unwind.
Closed for the past few months, the Bosch has been moved and polished and is ready to shine again in its new location – just a few inches back from the old one!
The Bosch Tavern in Hales Corners has been sitting on the same spot for more than 100 years. It was first the Bosch Hotel when it opened in 1905. The Bosch Hotel and Tavern also served as a site for many parties with a dance hall on the second floor. The dance hall remained in operation until 1930.
The current owners bought the building in 1995 and restored it, giving it the Bosch name once again and establishing it as a neighborhood bar and dining destination.
They come back for the ribs and the awesome community the Bosch has created. It's a unique but successful mix of townie bar and high quality restaurant.
