Though it’s particularly gorgeous in summer when you can sit outside on the patio with a glass of bubbly to enjoy it, the sunsets at Waterfront Restaurant in Sister Bay are kind of fabulous year round. This gorgeous, delicious restaurant just north of the city sits right on the coast of Green Bay. With floor to ceiling windows and an uninterrupted view out over the water, this is the absolute perfect place to share a meal, relax and take in the show that Mother Nature puts on nightly.
Waterfront is a somewhat seasonal restaurant. They're usually open just through the start of the year and then shut down until the end of April, so there's plenty of months to be able to enjoy this really amazing spot.
No matter the weather, you're in for a treat. Even when it's too cold to be outside, the wall of windows here let's you see all you need to of the stunning sunsets.
There's no dress code here and a meal can be as relaxed or as fancy as you'd like it to be. This can be a special, celebratory meal or a regular old Wednesday night. That's part of what makes this place so wonderful.
And while the food here is really, really good. Like fresh from the water, know the local farmers, changes with the seasons, good. It still pales in comparison to the star of the show.
You might be able to take in these sunsets elsewhere, but the combination of local ingredients made fresh, a killer wine and cocktail list and an impeccable staff is what makes the sunsets at Waterfront so breathtaking.
Whether you're stopping in for Wednesday tapas night or to just grab a drink with friends, make sure you time it right to be able to take in Mother Nature's show, as well.
