There are amazing antiques just waiting to be found all over the state. Every town holds a place to find hidden treasure, from vintage cookware and jewelry to furniture and signs. Tucked into an old warehouse on Milwaukee’s near south side is one of the biggest antique malls in the state.
Antiques on Pierce used to be known as Antiques on Second - but not long ago they relocated to a bigger space and altered their name to match their new location. The building used to be a biscuit company and there's something awesome about shopping for antiques in an antique building.
In the old location, it felt a bit like you had to watch every step you took lest you accidentally knock over something or break an antique. This new space gives so much more room to move about and really appreciate the wares on sale.
The largest antique mall in southeastern Wisconsin, Antiques on Pierce has 90,000 square feet on three floors showcasing items from more than 200 dealers. That's 50,000 more square feet than they had in their old space. There's something for everyone here.
The first thing you see when you walk in are the yards and yards of jewelry cases. There is so much to see, but it doesn't feel too cluttered. Plan to take the time to pore over all these amazing jewels.
Whether you're looking to stock your house with vintage cookware and plates or set a formal table with silver and crystal, there are tons of options to choose from.
Maybe the best part is that the inventory is constantly changing, so even if you don't find what you were looking for on the first trip, you can keep going back and finding new and wonderful things.
