The owner’s wife was a prodigious baker and it didn’t take long for the shop to pivot its focus and make baking its primary milieu. Now in it’s fifth generation of family ownership, there are bits of Bon Ton’s history all over the place. From old-world recipes and style to a focus on quality ingredients, there’s stunning detail in everything they do at Bon Ton. A true family business, this little spot has a full century’s worth of experience. While other small town businesses have come and gone, Bon Ton has remained a steadfast part of life in Jefferson.
