Another Kettle Moraine State Forest must-visit, Parnell Tower stands at 60 feet, resulting in widespread views of the surrounding forest…and foliage. The tower is situated along a hiking trail, so you can spend some time exploring the area either before or after you soak in the vistas from atop the tower.

A great place for a day of outdoor fun, the park also features a variety of trails, which make it easy to explore the surrounding hills, prairie, and wetlands.

What better location for an observation tower than the state’s highest point?! Well, that’s exactly what you’ll find at this park, which is home to Timm’s Hill. Standing 1,951 feet above sea level, it’s the highest point in Wisconsin…and one of the best places for seasonal views.
