There are 25 reasons to make the trip to Boscobel. To start, there’s a petting zoo that’s filled with some incredibly adorable animals. And then there’s the ice cream. Udder Brothers’ Creamery serves up 24 flavors, plus a selection of other great farm-fresh products. OK, maybe there are more than 25 reasons to visit Boscobel! Read on to start adding them up.
Udder Brothers’ Creamery is located on the south side of Boscobel. It’s about a 90-minute drive south of La Crosse or west of Madison.
While the creamery is a little off the beaten path, it’s worth seeking out. It was founded in 2017 by Jason and Justin Sparrgrove and their families. Jason and Justin first established a farm called Hi-Grove Holsteins in 2008. When they decided to expand, they took the enterprise in a new direction and launched the creamery.
The creamery sells 24 delicious flavors of hand-dipped ice cream, including options you won’t find anywhere else. How would you like to try a scoop of rhubarb pie ice cream?
The business also offers meal deals which include a sandwich, chips or yogurt, and a drink. Stop in and pick up lunch, then check out the selection of local beef and pork, honey, maple syrup, local cheese, frozen yogurt, and more.
Udder Brothers’ Creamery is open daily, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. It aims to support the hard work and efforts of local farmers and food producers – when you shop at Udder Brothers’, you’re supporting local agriculture, one lick of the ice cream cone at a time! If you love farm-fresh culinary experiences, head to this popular Wisconsin spot.
