A lifelong Virginia resident, Beth loves exploring different parts of the world and currently resides in Charlottesville. Here in Wisconsin, we can appreciate the art of an outdoor festival. And there’s one making its way to Milwaukee this summer that promises to be nothing short of magical. Scheduled for June 16th, 2018, The Lights Fest is an incredible event centered around a paper lantern release. Visitors can also look forward to delicious food, incredible live music, and all sorts of festivities that will make for an unforgettable evening. On June 16th, visitors from near and far will make their way to the Dodge County Fairgrounds just outside of Milwaukee.
During this incredible event, participants are invited to write their wishes, hopes, and dreams onto their paper lanterns, which are provided at the event.
The festival aims to leave only a positive imprint on the environment, so the lanterns are biodegradable. The lantern release will also only take place with permission from the local fire authorities.
