Haunted attractions are such a toss-up. Sometimes, they’re overly cheesy, and other times, they’re extremely terrifying. If you’re a fan of the latter, Terror on the Fox is a must-visit. A decades-old favorite, it’s one of, if not the, scariest Halloween haunt in the state. Because of COVID, this year’s Terror on the Fox is operating at 25% capacity, which means tickets are likely to sell out. Read on for all the details, so you don’t miss this Halloween favorite.
Halloween may look a bit different this year, but you can still get your share of scares at the Green Bay favorite: Terror on the Fox.
Put on by the Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, which operates 15 haunted houses nationwide, Terror on the Fox delivers an unforgettably frightening experience via realistic props, costumed actors, and more.
Held on the grounds of the National Railroad Museum, the hair-raising haunt kicks off with a ride on the Terror Train. Unlike past years, this year’s Terror Train will not feature actors.
The truly frightening fun begins when the train ride comes to an end at the two attractions that make up Terror on the Fox – Blackthorne Cemetery and Deadly Reflections.
Each as chilling as the next, the Blackthorne Cemetery features winding trails with plenty of spooky surprises, while the mansion of Deadly Reflections uses an interactive storyline to bring to life the notorious Bloody Mary.
Nearly two dozen actors will roam the grounds to deliver scares, which is far less than previous years. However, this year’s haunt includes more tech scares to supplement fewer actors.
Limited attendance and fewer actors aren’t the haunt’s only COVID-related changes, though. Other precautions include reserved time slots, temperature checks for staff, increased cleaning, and hand sanitizer. Also, every visitor must wear a mask.
