Mt. Horeb has been called both the "Mustard Capital of the World" and the "Troll Capital of the World." You can see the town's affinity for trolls by driving down the Trollway, a stretch of street decorated in trolls.

Pepin was the home of Laura Ingalls Wilder, and is the current home of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum. It overlooks gorgeous Lake Pepin, providing some absolutely amazing views.

Minocqua is called "The Island City." There are islands in Wisconsin? Well, yes, but only a portion of Minocqua is on an island. About 10% of the town is water, which makes for great fishing.
St. Croix Falls is close to Minnesota, and it is the park headquarters for the pristine St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. These falls spill off of the St. Croix River, which you can canoe or kayak.

Burlington, Wisconsin is known as the "Chocolate City." It is known as such because of the Nestle chocolate factory built there, and you can immerse yourself with Chocolate Experience Museum or ChocolateFest.

Bayfield is the gateway to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. It is great for sailing, boating and kayaking. The town is a great place to stay at a B&B.
