Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. As far as sandwiches go, some of the state’s best can be found at Ray’s Place. The decades-old favorite isn’t big on frills. However, you won’t mind because the signature sandwiches are sure to hit the spot. And they’re only made better by home-made soup, which is another of Ray’s specialties.
