Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. Calling all bookworms and literary lovers! Pearl Street Books, an enormous two-story bookstore, belongs on your radar. The must-visit shop carries tens of thousands of titles – and that’s in addition to prints and greeting cards by local artists. Take a look:
Pearl Street Books is located in a historic building in downtown La Crosse, just west of 4th and Pearl Streets.
…but for lounging, too. That’s right; customers are encouraged to sit down and read. Writers are also welcomed to come in and use the space for writing.
