Tom’s Drive In has been a fixture in Appleton for a very long time. It was founded back in 1960 by Tom Grishaber, and his wife Corinne.

The original location was located near Telulah Park on the city’s south side. It was originally a seasonal restaurant and it was a big hit with Fox Cities residents.

Back then, you could enjoy a great meal for pocket change. Burgers cost 15 cents, as did French fries. Milkshakes cost just 20 cents.
