There are several caves across Wisconsin that you might not know of, but one of the most famous is Cave of the Mounds. Grab a headlamp and get your spelunking on.

Yeah, Dells aren't the water parks, but they are actually valleys among trees. These valleys are amazing because they stand at the feet of some truly remarkable rock formations. You can take a Duck tour for an even cooler experience.
Excellent public school systems and a wonderful state university system make Wisconsin of the best states for education. Additionally, we are in the top three states as far as high school graduation rate.
Did you know that there are 160 different species of fish in Wisconsin? Our numerous rivers and lakes afford tons of opportunities for anglers, whether you are casual or really want to get that big sturgeon.
Sure, things might not be going so well right now (WHAT IS GOING ON GUYS??!!!!!), but overall, this team has been awesome. We've dominated and are always in the hunt. It's great to be a Packers fan.
House on the Rock was opened in Spring Green in 1959, and it is a unique complex with rooms full of everything from musical instruments to a merry go round. Wacky, and that's the way we like it.

The ice cream sundae was actually invented by a man in Two Rivers, Wiscosnin. What compelled him to put chocolate syrup over ice cream is a mystery, but we are thankful.
If you've gone to a game in Madison, you've certainly experienced the "Jump Around" craziness. This song we all know and love is played, and people jump up and down and go nuts.
Our state pastry (yes, we have one of those) is the Kringle, a Scandinavian pastry. It is a Nordic version of a pretzel. But sweet.
Wisconsin has over 15,000 (documented) lakes of all sizes. These lakes are wonderful to go tubing in, go fishing in, kayak, and even swim in. People in Wisconsin love their lakes.
Madison is our capital, but besides just being the capital, it is a really cool city, full of progressive, interesting people, great restaurants, and nice shops.

This beer is so good, people from other states stock up when they visit. It sure is delicious. If you can, visit the town of New Glarus. It has beautiful scenery, some great restaurants, and you can actually tour the brewery.
Trying saying that name 10 times fast. Probably the quintessential hard to pronounce Wisconsin town name, this town is actually a nice small town. Go visit!
In Door County, Peninsula State Park is one of Wisconsin's best state parks, with loads of camp sites, beautiful trees, interesting rock formations, and beautiful sunsets!
We are fortunate to have had three of the best NFL quarterbacks of all time: Starr, Favre, and Rodgers.
You might think we are all cheese curds and hamburgers, but we have some fine cuisine across our state. Many of them are in larger cities like Madison and Milwaukee, but there are plenty also in places like Kohler, Green Bay, etc.

I'd reckon we have one of the best state fairs in the country. From the cream puffs to other wacky creations to the musical acts, the Wisconsin State Fair is a must-see for anyone.
Frank Lloyd Wright (yeah, that guy) is actually from Spring Green, Wisconsin, where you can still visit his private residence. Many things he built are across Wisconsin.
For some reason (beer) or another (beer), there have been LOADS of UFO sightings in Wisconsin. Many of happened in the 1970s, but still, there are sightings today.
A LOT of Wisconsinites have served in our military, and our state really respects veterans. In Madison, there is a great museum all about veterans with tons of history about Wisconsin's involvement in battles.
Wisconsin has some of the best golf courses in the country. Whistling Straits (Kohler) was home to the PGA Championship.

Also known as cockleburrs, these little guys are a big pain when they get stuck on your clothing.
People in Wisconsin have an affinity for crafts like knitting. Heck, we even have a yarn shop/coffee shop in our state (The Sow's Ear).
We have some excellent zoos in Wisconsin, including the Milwaukee County Zoo, Henry Vilas Zoo, and NEW Zoo.
