Whether you’re looking for breathtaking views or an experience that you just can’t find elsewhere, these ten spots in Milwaukee need to be first on your list.
This breathtaking national landmark is located just 30 miles north of Milwaukee, but more than worth the visit! The sacred shrine at the top of the hill is arguably the best spot for incredible views of Milwaukee, which makes sense since it’s the highest point of elevation in this part of the state.
Our art museum isn’t just full of art, the building is art in itself. The wings on the Calatrava move twice a day, and it’s as beautiful as all of the permanent and ever-changing exhibits inside. Pro tip: every first Thursday of the month is free!

This hands-on science and technology museum is fun for the whole family. They offer an aquarium, a Tall Ship, and many interactive exhibits. Whether you want to learn about local science like how we keep our Great Lakes clean, or something to inspire your little one to be a true innovator, this lakefront attraction is the place to be.

Speaking of the lakefront, there’s no better place to experience the shores of Lake Michigan than Lakeshore State Park. Within the 22-acre park is a 1.7-mile trail that connects the Hank Aaron and Oak Leaf trails. Lakeshore Bridge connects the park to downtown and is arguably one of the best spots to see the Milwaukee skyline.
The Domes are a true Milwaukee treasure. This spot is one of the few places where it feels like summer all year long! The Domes consist of three different climate-controlled domes: Tropical, Desert, and Floral.
