This Lovely, Little Known Town Near Milwaukee Is Positively Delightful

There are two towns named Mayville in Wisconsin. This is the town in Dodge County (the other Mayville is located in Clark County).

Around 5,000 people call this charming town home. The town's Main Street is a pretty spot, with historic buildings, restaurants, and shops.

This historic inn was built in 1896 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The refuge provides a home for up to 200,000 Canada geese during migration, as well as great blue herons, ducks, muskrats, snakes, frogs, and fish.
