We’re definitely looking forward to spring, and one of the best ways to celebrate warmer weather is by getting out into Wisconsin’s beautiful outdoors. Here’s a hiking trail that’s easy, and surrounded by unrivaled natural beauty.
Kohler-Andrae State Park is about 50 miles north of Milwaukee.
The park covers 988 acres and includes sand dunes, wooded areas, wetlands, and beaches. This pretty park is the perfect place to spend a sunny spring day exploring.
This is a great hike for kids, dogs, and anyone who loves scenic views, sand, and fresh air. Make sure to stay on the cordwalk trail to protect the environment here, and pack out any trash you bring in.
