You'll Absolutely Love These 7 Charming, Walkable Streets In Milwaukee
It’s a beautiful day out, so why not take a stroll, grab a bite, and do some window-shopping? The little city of MKE is full of fun, and the best part is that most of the best areas are completely walkable. Take a stroll through these seven charming streets in Brew City.

Brady Street is an eclectic and bustling street running through Milwaukee's up-and-coming lower east side. There's always people to be watched and food to be had. You can spend the whole day on Brady if you'd like. Start with coffee at Rochambo, lunch at La Mesa, dinner at Thainamyte, dessert at FroZone, and then grab a beer to end the night at one of the dozens of bars. The nightlife brings Brady to life, and so does Brady Street Festival every July!

Broadway is an upscale shopping location located in the Third Ward. The street is full of local shops and restaurants, and a few bigger names too. There's small boutiques, consignment stores, and everything in between. It's also home to local theatre groups such as Skylight Theatre, so feel free to stop on your walk for a show! Fun fact: the street has no suffix, it's simply Broadway.

Some honorable mentions: Milwaukee Public Market for a bite to eat, City Hall for sight-seeing, AJ Bomber's for a burger and a beer.

See the Allen Bradley Clock Tower and then swing on over to Anodyne Coffee right off 2nd on Bruce for the best latte ever.

Old World Third is a historic street downtown. The streets are even made of cobblestone! You'll find the Usinger's sausage factory, Mader's German restaurant, and many other bars and restaurants to enjoy as you walk down this beautiful street that's full of history.

Milwaukee's east side is full of walkable streets, but we think Farwell tops them. With classic pizza spots like Zaffiro's and Pizza Shuttle, along with Asian-cuisine gems like Kiku Sushi and Chopstix, Farwell is a charming street full of hidden gems.

The charming and quaint State Street runs through the Village of Wauwatosa. Tosa is rapidly growing, but hasn't lost its charm. Take an afternoon stroll down State Street, and bring the whole family! There's a great brunch at Cafe Hollander, and a delicious slice of pizza at Pizzeria Piccolo. State Street is the perfect place for any afternoon stroll!
