Justin Trails Resort Is One Of The Best B&Bs In Wisconsin

The perfect escape, Justin Trails Resort is situated on a 200-acre property in the Driftless Area of southwestern Wisconsin.

So much more than your average B&B, the resort offers a variety of lodging options. Guests can choose between suites, cabins, and several campsites.

There are a total of three suites – all of which are located in a 1920s Foursquare house.

The resort’s two cabins, the Paul Bunyan Log Cabin and Little House on the Prairie, vary slightly but are both as charming as can be.

But their similarities don't end there. Each cabin features all the amenities of home and then some.

The Paul Bunyan Log Cabin is the larger and more luxe of the two. Among its extras are an indoor hot tub and a balcony.

Campsites are another lodging option. However, the campsites at Justin Trails Resort are far from typical. In addition to tent sites, there’s a hand-crafted Sioux-style tipi and…

…the Snuggalo, which is basically a tiny house on wheels. Perfect for couples or solitary visitors, the “mini log cabin” is seven feet wide and 12 feet long.

The accommodations are just the beginning of the resort’s allure, though. Remember, it’s situated on a 200-acre piece of property, so there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun throughout the year.

Well-maintained recreational trails wind through woodlands and meadows, making for some great hiking.

In the winter, the winding paths are perfect for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Farm tours are another way guests can occupy their time. Choose between a walking tour of the farm or a safari tour – both offer a behind-the-scenes look at the 200-acre homestead farm.
