Little Sweden is right on Highway 42, a thoroughfare into the county. It’s located on a property that once was home to a small downhill ski facility, and it’s surrounded by woods and orchards.

Door County has a rich Scandinavian heritage, as it was settled by people from Sweden. If you talk to someone from a Door County family, you might learn they have a last name like Olson, Larsen or Johnson.

Little Sweden celebrates that heritage with a little vacation village tucked into 89 acres of rolling terrain. It offers a collection of vacation homes that reflect the cozy and rustic charm of Sweden.
