If you thought outdoor dining was best reserved for springtime, think again! At Pier 500, you can enjoy riverfront vistas even during the cold months of winter, thanks to heated igloos. But these aren’t your typical igloos. Lovingly referred to as “bigloos,” the pop-up abodes are spacious, toasty, and the perfect place to warm up with friends on a brisk winter night. Take a look:
Promising a “pier-fect dining experience,” Pier 500 boasts amazing views of the St. Croix River and the historic Hudson Pier.
Its waterfront locale may not seem too appetizing in the winter; however, that couldn’t be further from the truth – and it’s all thanks to the eatery’s heated igloos!
When it comes to booking the igloos, there are several options. Some igloos are designed for formal dining, while others are set up for lounge-style seating.
Don’t have eight people in your party? No problem; there’s a smaller package for four people. This option includes two hours in the igloo and requires a (minimum) $100 food and beverage purchase.
Lastly, there’s the Igloo Lounge Experience, which is designed for up to eight people. Those opting for this package can spend one hour in the igloo with no minimum food or beverage purchase.
