Spooky fun is one of the best things about the Halloween season (aside from the candy, of course). Luckily, there are lots of ways to get your fill of thrills in Wisconsin – from haunted attractions to real-life haunts. If you’re a fan of the latter, you’ll definitely want to check out the Riverside Theater, which is offering ghost tours and ghost hunts on select nights throughout the month of October. Take a look:
Located in Milwaukee, the Riverside Theater has got to be among the state’s most recognizable landmarks.
And now, thanks to the theater’s two newest offerings – the Riverside Theater Ghost Tour and Late Night Ghost Hunt – you can learn all about the behind-the-scenes paranormal activity experienced by staff, patrons, and professional ghost hunters over the past 91 years.
Tours last 60 minutes and include access to the theater’s paranormal hot spots, which aren’t normally open to the public.
During the tour, haunted historians will share spooky stories about the theater and the strange happenings that have occurred within its walls. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear eerie EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) from past ghost hunts at the theater. And last but not least, bar service will be available before and after the tour.

Not for the faint of heart, the exclusive 3-hour ghost hunt kicks off with an on-stage séance led by an experienced medium.
Following the séance, the spooky fun continues as paranormal investigators guide attendees through the theater’s most haunted spots. Much more hands-on than the tour, those participating in the ghost hunt will get to operate ghost hunting equipment, such as digital voice recorders, thermometers, EMF detectors, a spirit box, and more.
Ghost tours are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays between October 9th and October 31st as well as on Thursday, October 29th. Ghost hunts are available for four nights only, which are October 17th, 24th, 30th, and 31st.
