Warm weather has its perks – and dining outside is definitely one of them. Luckily, there are several places in Wisconsin where you can dine al fresco. One of the best, though, is The River Deck Restaurant. Situated right on the water, the views are only matched by the tantalizingly fresh fare. Take a look:

Despite its small-town locale, the eatery is pretty easy to find since it’s part of Scheer’s Lumberjack Village. A great family destination, the village features a mini-golf course, ice cream shop, boutique, and The River Deck Restaurant, of course.
Peruse the menu and you’re sure to be pleased with the selection, which includes salads, sandwiches, and several featured entrees, such as beef and pork tenderloin and yellowfin tuna.
Keep in mind that the menu isn’t too expansive. However, that’s because everything is made with fresh ingredients, resulting in palate-pleasing food that’s bursting with flavor.
To really get the most out of your time at The River Deck Restaurant, plan a visit during one of Scheer’s lumberjack shows, which can be viewed from the restaurant’s deck. Fun for all ages, the world-class show merges history, sport, and comedy.
Serving up just as much of a feast for the eyes as the stomach, The River Deck Restaurant is a trek-worthy destination that belongs on your culinary bucket list.
