We’ve got a lot of great festivals here in Wisconsin, but did you know the state hosts the world’s largest cranberry festival? It’s true. The fun-filled event is quickly approaching, and you don’t want to miss it. In addition to cranberries galore, the annual event includes over 1,000 vendors, nearly 100 food booths, and lots more. Take a look:
Every September, thousands of people flock to Warrens for the town’s annual Cranberry Festival. But not just any cranberry festival. We’re talking about the world’s largest cranberry festival.
The festival has come a long way since it began in 1973 with just 75 vendor booths. Now an international event, it attracts more than 130,000 visitors each year.
Nearly as plentiful as the merchandise is the food. There are 80 food booths, which sell everything from classic fair fare to a variety of cranberry items.
In addition to shopping, food, and fun, the festival includes….cranberries, of course. Spend your time indulging on cranberry treats, taking part in cranberry-related activities, and more.
