Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. These days, general stores aren’t very common. And general stores that have been around since the 1800s are even rarer. However, there’s one destination in Wisconsin that falls under both categories – The Cooksville Store. Practically unchanged for well over a century, the charming general store offers a shopping experience like no other. Take a look:

This is The Cooksville Store. A real hidden gem, it’s tucked away in the small town of Evansville in Rock County.
There are also lots of local favorites, including plenty of cheeses and sausages, as well as a large variety of candies, spices, baking goods, jams, jellies, and salsas.
