Whether or not you’re a fan of museums, you’ve got to pay a visit to the History Museum at the Castle. Not your typical museum, this one features a ton of local history, including a Houdini exhibit that’s been visited by more than 150,000 people! But that’s not all there is to love. There’s also an array of national exhibits. Oh, and did we mention the museum is housed in a huge building that looks like a castle? Take a look:
The History Museum at the Castle is most known for its interactive Harry Houdini exhibit. But that’s not all you’ll find within its walls.
And while we’re on the subject of walls, it seems like a good time to bring up the building’s history. The structure, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1923 and has lots of features reminiscent of medieval castles.
The museum's other exhibits cover a variety of topics. Learn about everything from the history of mental health at the Asylum: Out of the Shadows exhibit…
National exhibits are always coming and going. GUITAR: The Instrument that Rocked the World is currently at the museum and will be there until January 5, 2020.
