One of Wisconsin’s most scenic waterfront campgrounds is a gem that’s waiting to be discovered by campers who love the water. Brunet Island State Park is located right on one of Wisconsin’s best rivers for recreation, and it has sites that are so close to the shoreline, at night you can hear the water rippling past. Pack your tent, beach towel, and fishing gear – here’s a Wisconsin campground you’ll want to visit.
Brunet Island State Park’s south campground has a campsite accessible for people with disabilities and a shower building with flush toilets. To get really close to the water, choose the north campground; while there’s no electricity, many of the sites are right on the Chippewa River or its bays. You can make camping reservations for Brunet Island State Park here.
If you love scenic campgrounds, here are some more amazing spots you have to put on your Wisconsin bucket list.
