Three Brothers has been a Milwaukee fixture for a very long time. It’s located in an unassuming building in the south side Bay View neighborhood.
Milun Radicevic opened the business in 1956. He had arrived in Milwaukee a few years earlier. Over the years many of Radicevic’s family members arrived in Milwaukee and for many, the restaurant was the first stop.
The restaurant preserved family traditions, using family members as chefs. It wowed diners and won over some of the nation’s top food critics – it even won a James Beard award.
If you love wonderfully prepared meat, you’ll love this place. Sample some classic burek, or feast on road lamb, roast suckling pig, roast duck, or roast goose. Many of the entrees are served with home pickled cabbage.
