Did you know Wisconsin is home to the Midwest’s largest lavender farm? It’s true, and you’ve got to visit. Nothing short of whimsical, the farm boasts 20,000 lavender plants — but that’s not all. There’s also a shop, nursery, and bistro. And that’s in addition to a slew of events the farm hosts throughout the year. A real feast for the senses, any time spent on the farm won’t soon be forgotten. Take a look:
Fragrant Isle is open seasonally. During the summer season, which begins May 1st and extends until October, it’s open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the winter, which runs from November 1st through December 31st, it’s open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call (920) 847-2950.
