In the heart of Madison, there’s a little bakery that may just be what your heart and soul needs. Paleo Mama serves up a wonderful selection of baked goods that’s gluten free, grain free, and simply delicious. It’s a hidden gem that’s worth seeking out, even if your’e new to gluten free food – here’s why Paleo Mama is the best gluten free bakery in Wisconsin.
Paleo Mama’s story began with founder Belle Pleva’s struggle with a debilitating autoimmune disease. Medications and advice that she received from doctors did not work. Relief would come in a very delicious form.
Pelva learned about the Specific Carbohydrate Diet and found immediate relief by eliminating carbohydrates and sugars from her diet. Today she follows a modified version of that diet and the paleo diet.
The focus of the bakery was to create nutritious and delicious treats that were not only awesome for people with certain health needs, but great for anyone who loves tasting something special.
The offerings are all made from simple, healthy ingredients, and they are wonderful. The treats are varied, and if you love a great dessert, you're in the right place.
I don’t follow a gluten-free diet, but I love Paleo Mama’s treats.Try them and see what you think! Learn more about this special bakery on the Paleo Mama website. Need a place to stay in Madison? Fine one on booking.com. Here’s where to find the more incredible Wisconsin food and dining spots.
