It’s summertime. It’s the perfect time to get some deep fried food, hang out in the sun…..and go on some really fast rides! Kids and adults alike are thrill chasers. Wisconsin amusement parks have been providing thrills for decades. We’re taking a look at the best seven Wisconsin amusement parks:
1. Noah's Ark (Wisconsin Dells)
We would be remiss if we didn't lead off with the largest water park in America. You can learn how to surf. Or you can get thrills from rides like "Time Warp." The kiddos can enjoy the 4D theater.
2. Bay Beach Amusement Park (Green Bay)
While Bay Beach might not have the fastest and flashiest rides, it does capture the amusement park of yesteryear. It has been in operation since 1892, and is one of the oldest continuously operating amusement parks in America. This is captured by rides, such as the Zippin Pippin, as well as the low prices (rides cost mere pennies).
3. Little Amerricka Amusement Park (Marshall)
This classic amusement park is fun for the entire family. There are twenty-six rides in all. One of its most famous rides is the 1950s roller coaster "The Meteor."
4. Quarry Beach Amusement Park (Sheboygan)
Wisconsin has tons of water parks...but how many are completely operated out of a lake? People of all ages are welcome to enjoy this awesome experience. Doesn't this look great?!
5. Bulik's Amusement Center (Spooner)
This place doesn't have any rides, but don't let that dissuade you from coming here with the family. They have a great arcade, go-karts, and batting cages.
6. Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park (Wisconsin Dells)
This place is the best of both possible worlds.
You get a very good water park in its own right--including a large wave pool. And you get some pretty great roller coasters.
7. Kalahari Resorts (Wisconsin Dells)
Kalari Resorts features both an indoor and outdoor waterpark--as well as a climbing wall, bowling alley and arcade.
