There are loads of places to get outside in Wisconsin this summer, from state parks to going out to the lake to just eating outdoors. But there is one place in Wisconsin that is truly beautiful and you will definitely want to do it. We’re talking about Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison. Olbrich has a whopping 16 acres of outdoor display gardens, as well as an indoor conservatory (Bolz) if you need to take a break from the heat. It’s truly stunning, and you need to take a trip out here. The outdoor gardens is the low, low price of FREE and the indoor conservatory costs just $2 for adults.
During the summer, there are summer concerts to enjoy while in the gardens. One notable feature that is available all year long is the Thai Pavilion. It is the only one in the continental United States, and it is the only one (outside of Thailand) surrounded by a garden. Other favorites include the rose garden, sunken garden, and and herb garden.
