Did you know that in the middle of the state there’s a farm that’s home to one of the most recognized, award-winning corn mazes in the United States? Recognized again this year, this time by USA Today as one of the top 10 corn mazes in the country, Treinen Farm in Lodi has been noted by everyone from Atlas Obscura to the Smithsonian as providing some of the coolest, most fun fall activities in America. This truly magical spot will have longer hours this week and a special Zombie event on Saturday, so start making plans for a spooky and spectacular weekend!
Treinen Farm is a truly spectacular Wisconsin gem. This farm is delightful all year round, but they really go all out for fall to create a true autumn farm experience.
Sure, you can come here just for fabulous family autumn fun. You'll walk away with the perfect pumpkin and happy kids after they've had a perfect fall farm day.
But the big draw here is the humongous 15-acre corn maze. This year it's animal themed and there are tons of twists and turns to explore. It's based on a Rudyard Kipling story about how the elephant got its long nose.
This place is truly a fall fantasy come to life. There are events all season that help make it even more special, from spooky stuff for older guests down to events for the littlest visitors.
When you're done exploring and exhausted from a day of fun, rent out a bonfire pit, bring food to roast and top off your night in the most wonderful way possible.
Admission packages start at $6.50 for kids and $11.00 for adults. With many state kids out of school on October 25 and 26, they'll be open all day long, with hayrides on the hour and hours into the night. Their Zombie Apocalypse event is on 10/27 and after Halloween, you'll find the maze and playgrounds are still open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Treinen Farm is located at W12420 WI-60 Trunk, Lodi, WI 53555. You can learn more about all their amazing offerings at their website and see more gorgeous pictures on their Facebook page.
