It's located 1 mile downstream from the Rockville Bridge, where Mt Nebo Road crosses Big Sandy Creek. On a hot summer day, the best way to reach it is by wading down along the creek bed.
It's a pleasant walk: Big Sandy Creek is one of the cleanest rivers in Preston County, and you'll find many enjoyable pools along the way down the river bed.

There is limited road access to the falls, but it's an extremely rough road that requires four-wheel drive or even an ATV to complete, plus you'll still have to scramble down to the falls on foot.
