This giant apple contains a time capsule that was dedicated October 19, 1990 to be opened in 2040. Apple production is a big part of Martinsburg's history, and it was once named the Apple Capital of the World. The apple sits on West King Street.

The Braxton Monster, also known as the Flatwoods Monster, is a local legend. The story tells of a creature that appeared after a UFO landing. The Braxton Convention and Visitors Bureau has sponsored 10 foot high chairs in the image of the monster around Braxton County. This chair is located at Cafe Cimino County Inn.
This miniature golf course features obstacles made from real coal mining equipment, and a giant coal miner statue.
