These 12 vintage photos of West Virginia will certainly take you back! I have always loved looking at old photos, especially the ones that my Nana has kept all these years.
I especially love the postcards, I think that they just look so amazing!
1) Somewhere along US Route 52, Mail Pouch Tobacco.
While this photo may not be vintage, this advertisement certainly is. The Bloch Brothers of Wheeling, WV, was a tobacco company that was very popular for their some 20,000 advertisements on the sides of barns.
2) Old school transportation in Wheeling, West Virginia, sometime in the early 1900s.
3) Pictured below is Alex Schoenbaum, the founder of Shoney's.
The Shoney's pictured above is the original Shoney's, which was located in Charleston. This photo is from sometime in the 1970s.
4) The B&O staff Christmas Party at the Greenbrier Resort in 1962.
5) The North Parlor in the Greenbrier Resort on a postcard, taken sometime in the 1960s.

Chester High School was useduntil Oak Glen High School opened in 1962.
