Berkeley Springs In West Virginia Has A Little Bit Of Everything

Just because someplace is small doesn’t mean it has nothing to offer. This little town in West Virginia is a prime example of that.

Berkeley Springs, located in the northern panhandle, may be small, but size means little in a small town like that.

You can visit Berkeley Castle, one of the oldest structures in the city, and visit the adjacent hot springs, America's first spa. You can even see the tub that George Washington frequently visited.

The hot springs is a great place to relax and a fun place for your children to play.

The town also has several parks, many great restaurants and over 100 different shops - many unique, some quirky - that you cannot find anywhere else in the state.

And if it is nature you are looking for, visit the nearby Cacapon Resort State Park, which has seven trails, a lake for swimming and boating, a beach, fishing, horseback riding, geocaching, lodging and golf.
