Atmosphere is important when choosing a place to eat. It’s not everything, and as long as the restaurant features a clean, well designed dining room, that is usually enough. But one restaurant in Huntington takes it to the next level to create a truly unique dining experience.
The Cellar Door Tapas Room, located in Huntington, is the most unique restaurant in the city, perhaps in all of West Virginia.

It is the companion restaurant to Le Bistro. Its entrance is located next door to the popular French bistro, and a flight of stairs leads you to the restaurant beneath.
Its design aesthetic involves the combination of nature art employed with a wide array of colors.
They are designed by Cellar Door's Chairy Couture, a specialty furniture company designed specifically for the restaurant, employing the use of vibrant color combinations.
Some of the specialties served include a cheese plate - typically served with wine - and a charcuterie board, served with capicola, prosciutto and salami, among other things.
They have a large variety of small plates. The purchase of two can easily satisfy any hunger level. They also have a large wine, beer and liquor menu to pair with your food. Some tables are designed specifically for eating, while other areas line the restaurant's colorful chairs around large coffee tables for a more relaxed, casual experience.
The Cellar Door is located at 905 3rd Avenue in Huntington, right next door to Le Bistro.
