The riverfront town of Harpers Ferry may be small, but it’s also one of our most popular destinations here in West Virginia. Travelers from all around this corner of the country head to Jefferson County to indulge in everything that Harpers Ferry has to offer, but what some people may not know is that earlier this year a new establishment opened up and it’s absolutely worth visiting. A place you’ll have to know you’re looking for in order to find it, see why The Rabbit Hole may very well be our favorite newly-opened restaurant in the Mountain State for 2019.
Out along the Potomac River, Harpers Ferry had a new restaurant open up back in April on High Street.
A discrete little entryway you may have walked by without even noticing, The Rabbit Hole will show you a new side of a familiar area that you've likely already explored.
Part of the fun in dining here is that as you wait for your food, you'll be able to check out all of the different things that are hanging from the walls of the restaurant.
If you're looking to grab something light or snack away on smaller dishes, you can check out their hummus plates, shrimp cocktails, dill spears, Bavarian-style soft pretzels, quesadillas, pierogis, and wings.
While truly hungry guests will want to be sure to check out things like their Mountain Dogs, Triple Texas Toast BLTs, Chicken Tender Baskets, Blue Ridge Burger, and favorites like the Classic Crabcake Sandwich that comes with seasoned fries, hush puppies, and tartar.
A never-ending present that you can't stop unwrapping, another reason why this newly-opened restaurant has quickly become such a hit is because of their outdoor patio that you can dine on when the weather is warm enough - featuring pristine views of the Harpers Ferry Station!
