What can you do with $5? Not much these days, it seems…unless you find yourself in Inwood, West Virginia, in which case, $5 will buy you a whole day of fun! It will, that is, if you use it to buy a general admission ticket to Old McDonald’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, which has enough awesome activities to keep you busy for hours.

Is this West Virginia staple a part of your family’s fall traditions? If not, this is a great year to add it in. Old McDonald’s Pumpkin Patch is open most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in October and November. They do close the farm for rain, so call ahead or keep an eye on Facebook if wet weather is in the forecast. And yes, as we said at first, it’s all just $5/person (children 3 and under are free). Hayrides can be added for $4. Night Maze is $7. Of course, these rates are subject to change, but you can learn more at the Old McDonald’s website.

What else do you look forward to each fall in West Virginia? Cider donuts, anyone?
