All around the country, you can find all sorts of Lego attractions and theme parks that are up and running. Unfortunately for our residents in West Virginia, there aren’t any Lego destinations like this in our state – until now! Officially announced by the folks over at BrickUniverse, it’s time to start planning your trip to the first-ever Lego convention to be held here in a Mountain State city.
Taking over the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center, West Virginia will be the host of the BrickUniverse Lego Convention in 2020.
If you've never attended a Lego convention before, you can expect to find all sorts of activities set up to keep your entire family entertained for the day.
Some of us will spend the afternoon creating our own little worlds at the Building Zones they have set up, with thousands of Legos for you to build with.
Others will marvel over the view of the amazing Lego works of art that are on display, with professional Lego artists like Jonathan Lopes and Rocco Buttliere bringing their life-size creations to the convention to have on display.
From larger-than-life-sized Atlantis sculptures to smaller displays that showcase famous landmarks from all around the world, this is one convention that will leave you in awe.
From Lego Friends Building Areas and massive Duplo brick piles to Star Wars Zones with themed bricks that allow you to build your own spaceship, this convention has it all.
