The Mountain Explorer Dinner Train invites guests onboard to experience the dinner of a lifetime. The train departs the Elkins train station and takes you on a 48-mile round trip journey to High Falls and back.
The Mountain Explorer is the only dinner train in West Virginia. During its four-hour excursion, you'll be led through some of the most gorgeous backcountry, mountain scenery. The sights are breathtaking all year long, but especially during the fall when the vibrant autumn colors totally encompass the train!
The dinner portion of the ride definitely does not disappoint. This four-course meal is professionally prepared and served to you right at your seat. The portions are hearty, your wine glass will never be empty, and the food itself is absolutely scrumptious.
