If you want to find the restaurant that serves the best [fill in the blank], sometimes it’s as easy as seeking out the longest-running establishment around. For the best spaghetti in The Mountain State (and probably all of America, and yes, we may be a little biased), head to Huntington to an eatery that’s been serving up heaping helpings of flavorful spaghetti day after day since they opened in 1938.
Imagine the era just after The Great Depression and just before WWII... and then imagine how amazing it must have been to head to Jim's Steak and Spaghetti back in 1938 to splurge on an affordable plate of goodness.
Fast forward to late in 2018, and the priorities haven't changed much over the last 80 years. Folks still flock to Jim's for a savory plate of (affordable) spaghetti, only now it's topped off with a huge dose of nostalgia.
From the old bar stools at the counter...
to the bright and airy booths reminiscent of the 'good ol' days,' a visit to Jim's is a timeless adventure you don't ever forget.
Celebs and famous people are often seen indulging in a bit of nostalgia while devouring the goodness found at Jim's. You can even sit in the very spot where John F. Kennedy ate when he visited Huntington in 1960 on a campaign stop.
Follow the Facebook page to see who the latest famous persons to visit are (and get a look at what they ordered!). It's nearly as much fun to follow Jim's (on Facebook) as it is to visit in person!
Of course, Jim's Steak and Spaghetti has more than JUST spaghetti, but once you step through the front door and smell the rich aroma of freshly made pasta... it may be difficult to think about eating anything else...
Have you been to Jim's? We'd love to know!!
And if you haven't been to Jim's yet, it's a relatively straight shot from two exits on Interstate 64.
Ready to head there now?! We’ll see you there!

After your trip to Jim’s, head over to this beautiful riverfront park in Huntington to walk off the calories!
