One of the country’s best, most impressive rest stops is hiding right here in West Virginia! Two of them, actually,(here’s looking at you, too, Tamarack Marketplace!) but the one I stop at every single time I drive past, even if I just have a minute or two, is the Canyon Rim Visitor Center overlooking the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia. Considering that it is right off a major highway and features clean bathrooms, some interesting history, a stairway that’s a better workout than any gym, and one of the best views in the entire state of West Virginia, can you blame me?
