But if you’re looking for a good loop to do soon, consider this newly designated scenic route, the West Virginia Hellbender. It offers a great ride for cars, but it’s even better for motorcycles–with over 1300 curves, gorgeous panoramic views, and plenty of restaurants, this is a perfect place to come ride the day away!

Tucked away in Nicholas County is the small town of Richwood, West Virginia. Formerly a booming coal town, Richwood is now known as an ideal gateway to the beautiful Monongahela National Forest.

As such, it's the perfect launching spot for a new motorcycle route, which is exactly what an enterprising group of motorcyclists have done. Capitalizing on Richwood's prime location, they've come together with the town of Richwood and local businesses to organize a new motorsports trail in West Virginia.

This route is known as the W.V. Hellbender, and it's become quite popular with locals and tourists alike.
