There are some things you just can’t find in a typical grocery store, and there are things at this market you won’t find anywhere else.
Grandview Market in Raleigh is not your typical market. It has certain things that you just can't find anywhere else. Though they have many typical items, such as the variety of herbs pictured below, they may also have others that are a bit harder to find.
They also have a large selection of fruits and vegetables. Selections include sweet potatoes, Vidalia onions, Idaho potatoes, and four different varieties of apples, to name just a few.
Then they have more unusual offerings, such as these vintage metal signs, which play into what people refer to as the market's "old-timey feel."
Other parts of the market have some handmade furniture and a number of other unique items, both large and small.
You can also find sauces made from local businesses, many of which make products not sold to typical grocery stores. Additionally, you can find large rolls of hay, small statues perfect for your yard or patio, several varieties of plants and flowers, and much more.
If you are looking for something unique, whether in food, gifts or household items, be sure to stop by this market when you are in town. Grandview Market is located at 162 Hereford Ln. in Raleigh.
