Blackwater Falls State Park is located in the Allegheny Mountains of Tucker County in West Virginia.
Named for the amber waters that are created by the tannic acid of fallen hemlock and red spruce needles, this towering waterfall is truly a sight to be seen.
It’s quite the sight to see this massive 62-foot waterfall cascade into Blackwater Canyon. It’s no wonder this natural attraction is one of the most photographed spots in the entire state!
