When it comes to unique restaurant combinations, West Virginia has some real winners! From a restaurant in a shooting range to a dining room at the end of an aerial tram and more, we’ve got a wide variety of dining options in the Mountain State. But there’s only one restaurant around that thoroughly specializes in crepes, and that’s Crêpizza, the recent merge of Charleston icons Cafe Creperi and Pizza Barbarossa.
Tucked away in a South Charleston shopping center is a little family-owned restaurant serving a unique combination of authentic Greek, Italian, and French cuisine. Formed in September 2020, Crêpizza is a merge of two longtime Charleston establishments: Cafe Creperi and Pizza Barbarossa, both owned by the Stavrulakis family.
Building on its owners’ years of experience, and specializing in fresh ingredients and homemade dishes, Crêpizza offers authentic flavors at attractive prices.
The crepes have been a local favorite for years, since the days the Cafe Creperi was located in Kanawha City. There, it established a loyal following with its dessert and savory crepes, but expanded along the way and branched out to offer gyros and fresh soups and salads, served with homemade dressings and sauces.
The vast majority of these tasty items remain on the new Crêpizza menu, along with the wide array of pizzas and fresh toppings. As a testament to the unique combination of flavors here, there are even Greek and gyro crepes offered.
And don’t leave without trying a dessert - baklava, a sweet crepe, or the special of the day. Whether you’re eating a light brunch or a hearty dinner, feeding just yourself or a large family, Crêpizza offers something for everyone.
Delivery is available through Grubhub and DoorDash.
It’s not many places where you can find pizza, crepes and gyros all made fresh under one roof. But this is the unique experience you can enjoy six days a week at Crêpizza in Charleston!
