If you're on the hunt for "covered bridges near me," try and seek out this one. Built in 1881, Fish Creek Covered Bridge is the last remaining covered bridge in Wetzel County. It's only 36 feet long but still is a quaint little bridge to drive across.

The oldest and longest covered bridge in West Virginia is quite a sight to see. Constructed in 1852, the Philippi Covered Bridge is the site of the first land battle of the Civil War.
