Cafe Diem is a small restaurant off the beaten path in Rivesville, West Virginia. But ask anyone, and they'll tell you - it's worth the trip no matter how far you have to come because the food is absolutely phenomenal.
Of course, if you're not a coal miner or don't wish to eat like one, there are plenty of other yummy options as well, from sandwiches to crab cakes to country-fried steak and mashed potatoes to fried pickles and just about everything in between.
Cafe Diem is located at 2408 Paw Paw Creek Road outside Rivesville, about half an hour west of Morgantown. The restaurant is open Tuesdays to Fridays from noon until 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cafe Diem is closed on Mondays.
