Brush Creek Preserve in Mercer County is a fantastic place to find a breathtaking waterfall right at your fingertips. You can practically drive right up to Brush Creek Falls which are located just a mere quarter-mile from the designated roadside parking area.

Brush Creek Preserve is a 124-acre hidden gem concealing a majestic waterfall just out of plain sight. The preserve is located just a short jaunt off of Interstate 77 on Brush Creek Falls Road in Athens.

The roadside parking area has a picnic pavilion so bring lunch if you plan to stay awhile. Otherwise, you'll want to hit the short trail and seek out the main attraction.

The hike to Brush Creek Falls is just a 1/4 mile and the trail is pretty easy to navigate. You do have the option of continuing on past the falls to see another waterfall if you want to extend your trip.
